MJG: (laughing) “ able to leap over thirsty b@#$%s in a single bound!”

Where were you guys the first time you heard yourselves on the radio?

“Well if you’re talking about the first, first song then it was a song called “Listen to the Lyrics”. That was the first ever.

Ok, do you remember what you were doing the first time you heard it.

Ha ha, yeah. We were sittin’ around the record studio waitin’ on ‘em to play it.

What is one of the toughest lesson you have learned being in the rap game? Many artists have money management problems or too many females and people around them. What have you learned?

Shoot, all of that, (laughing). Money management, some times you have too many people around. There are a lot of things we could have done different looking back on it. But we love the business you know what I mean.

Tell me something most people don’t know about you.

Eightball: I don’t know, I listen to alternative music. I like all kinds of music, and I get inspiration for music from everywhere.

If you were a super hero, what would your super hero name be and what would be your super power(s)?

So where have you been? we haven’t seen much of you lately.

We’ve been overseas, we usually go over there once a year, we go to Germany, Poland, couple of different places they bring us through. You know, we have a lot of fun with it. But I also do a USO tour once a year. We visit Iraq, Afghanistan, perform for the troops. Do my little tour of duty.

So how do the people overseas receive you, do you have a big following?

It’s kinda crazy cause some of the crowds we  perform for don’t even speak English. When we went to Poland nobody spoke English. What’s cool is they have their own rap scene. They have their own producers, own radio shows, they even have their own hip-hop awards show.
